About Me
I'm Patrick "Shrink" Vinge, a lifelong learner and technology enthusiast based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With a background in both the military and academia, I'm passionate about bridging the gap between strategy, technology, and leadership. I enjoy tackling complex problems, building meaningful connections, and sharing knowledge with others. When I'm not working, you'll find me reading, exploring new ideas, or spending time outdoors with my German Shorthair Pointers.
Academic Use and Copyright
This is a personal study resource. The book notes bring together summaries, analysis, comparisons, and citations for scholarship, research, criticism, and discussion. Quotations and source materials support that work. The notes are intended to accompany the original publications; readers are encouraged to consult and cite those sources.
Where copyrighted excerpts are used without permission, the intended basis is fair use under 17 U.S.C. § 107. Fair use is assessed case by case, considering the purpose and character of the use, the nature of the source work, the amount and significance of the material used, and the effect on the work’s potential market or value. Academic purpose, citations, and this notice do not by themselves establish fair use. See the U.S. Copyright Office’s fair-use guidance.
Citations and page references identify the underlying sources. Copyright in third-party works remains with the respective rights holders, where applicable. The MIT License covers original website code only; it does not grant reuse rights to the study notes, excerpts, scans, images, or third-party archives. Existing public-domain status and separate licenses remain unchanged.
